Wanted to respond to the question about Max.

First– gender identity is different from sexual orientation. Sexual orientation is about who you are attracted to. Gender identity is about your internal sense of your own gender. As we all know, just because you’re a woman it doesn’t mean you want to have sex with a man. The two are totally separate concepts.

So what happened is that Max’s gender identity transformation (in terms of what is socially recognized) might have gotten linked to a transformation in sexual orientation as well. There are two changes not ust one.

Second– if we want to be really accurate about Max’s gender identity, we would not say that she became a he. We would say that he managed to get his socially recognized gender to match what his gender had been all along. Even when Max was Moira, he was still a guy, he was just in a body that wasn’t being recognized that way.

I have read a lot about trans guys who become gay after they come out. i.e. when they were being recognized as women, they only wanted to have sex with women, but once they were recognized as men, they wanted to have sex with men. There are different theories on this, I don’t pretend to know what is the right one, but it is something that happens. Transitioning is a big deal. I guess a lot of things can change in someone’s life when they transition.

Salty, I don’t think that’s how it was handled with the Max character. I really liked how they did it. Max was with a woman (Jenny) before he transitioned. Then he got together with a gay man. His *gay* boyfriend understood himself to be in relationship with another guy. They were gay guys together. His boyfriend really recognized Max for who he was. Others use “J-Lube,” which is a powdered concentrate that when added to water produces incredibly slippery goo; it’s sold in veterinary supply houses! (Some people still use Crisco with latex gloves, on the theory that the Crisco is just the best lube, and the gloves don’t break down that fast. This is risky, but it’s an option.)

Start slow.
Start with one or two fingers and work your way up to three and then four. Most people need some time to further relax their muscles, and some may require several stretching sessions, over weeks or even months, before you can actually get your whole hand in.
Go slowly. Start with one finger and work up. DON’T RUSH. Be sensitive to your partner’s feelings. You are trying to persuade part of their body to open for you, to admit part of you deeply inside it. The energy will move back and forth, and you’ll ride it, coaxing and pushing, in and out, moving your partner into a trance. Keep communicating with your partner; help them to relax and demonstrate some empathy if they are a little uncomfortable at first.

Listen to your partner and let her/him tell you when to push, when to back off, when to add more fingers, and when it’s too much. Fisting can cause muscle and tissue injuries if you go too fast or too hard. All the way in.
The knuckles are the widest part of the hand and the most difficult part to get past the opening of the vagina/anus. You’ll probably run into resistance at that point. I think a lot of you ladies here are justifying your lesbian activities with your bad experiences with men. If you are attracted to women, God bless but no you don’t need to stereotype all men in the process. Some may not care about anyone else but some women act like that too. You are just too biased and aroused by women to give them any fault. I personally enjoy spoiling my wife rotten and always ask her opinion.

Consequently, women THINK they know other women’s bodies. Everyones woman’s body is unique, different, and has different needs. This is also a question of biology. It is not that difficult for a man to learn a woman’s errogeonous zones since it is science. Men have super natural curiosity and focusing that on a woman is what masculinity is about. Many men don’t give themselves over to women because we see comments like the ones above and get in the mindset you don’t deserve it.

Also, all sex is mental. If a woman or man thinks something is taboo its going to charge them up all the more. Combine that with a bad marriage or relationship and its easy to understand where some of you are coming from. If you found a good man that you could believe cared about you physically and emotionally you wouldn’t have a problem connecting with them. Of coarse if you just want women well thats your choice but men don’t have to be “bad” for women to be good!

TO Jim – How many here have said they have had “bad experiences with men”? If there was one maybe for you one is “a lot”.

So I sent her a text expressing how I felt about her, I tried to do it in person but she wouldn’t meet me so I couldn’t tell her. She replied that she was confused with herself but didn’t think she felt the same way as I did but apologised for messing me around.
I was fine by this, she goes to my sixth form (school) so when we saw each other round school we generally ignore and avoid any eye contact. About 3 days ago I texted her a quote saying: ” it’s hard to forgot someone who gave you so much to remember” and she replied ” I miss you” so I asked her what she was doing over the next few days with the hopes of seeing her and talking to her but she kept saying she was busy.
I really don’t know what to do and any advice would be fully appreciated

So I have a friend who I met around March this year. She was a senior and I was a freshman in highschool. I’m 21 and am bisexual as well. I have been out since I was 14. Along the way I have met many girls who come to me looking for guidance. What your parents feel can really make a situation harder. But I want you to know that it doesn’t matter what they view about it. There are now a lot of catholic and christian churches in the State of New York (where I live) that condone gay marriage since it’s legalization here. While there still are some that disapprove I find that acceptance takes time. Sometimes its best to keep this from your parents for awhile. If there is a girl you are interested in then go for her. Let your relationship develop before feeling the need to tell your parents. The reason I say this is because coming out to your family can sometimes seriously hinder a relationship. Plus the love and support of your significant other can work wonders in case your parents just can’t seem to understand. For some people coming out with your partner present can help. Parents that care for their children will recognize how much you two mean to each other. Accepting it might be easier that way. But if you and your parents have a very open and understand relationship you might want to do it alone. They might feel otherwise pressured about their reaction.
If you have already come out to them and they are still in denial about it then try your best to smile through it. Sometimes you need to be firm and let them know that while you value their opinion that their words can’t and won’t change the way you feel and if they can’t support you for being who you are that you are disappointed in them. It may sound harsh but sometimes mom and dad just need a wake up call to prioritize. When I came out to my parents I got a reaction I wasn’t expecting. Full support from my mother but extreme disapproval by my father. My mom tried her hardest to get my father to understand but he just wouldn’t. Things at home were hard especially since I was so young. One day my dad caught me making out with a girlfriend of mine on the patio and lost it. Later that night I confronted him and told him that he was my dad and it hurt me so much that he was to stubborn to turn the other cheek for his daughter who never judged him. I told him that this wasn’t something that was going to go away and if he was really willing to let it come between us then I was very sorry he felt the need to be so hateful about it. He was so mad he yelled for what felt like hours. But the next day he left me a note saying that while he simply cannot understand the way I fell that I was still his baby girl and he wasn’t going to continue to hurt me. Now he invites my girlfriend to come over and root for their favorite team together during the fall. He has grown into the idea and things have really worked out well for me.

1. Your sexuality is something you cant change. But you usually dont figure it out until later. I have scrolled along some of these many comments that say “I’m straight but i’ve fallen for this girl” and so on. A sexual orientation means that you PREFER the one gender. You can still be straight and fall in love with that one girl that matches you perfectly. That girl who makes you smile. And anyone who wants any advice there? Go and tell the girl, and if she likes you back? Kiss the girl. Trust me, that first kiss, is something you wont ever forget. Guy or Girl.

2. Sex is a way of showing how much you love eachother. You usually dont have sex with someone you dont love, trust and cherish. Every one of these elements usually make ‘making love’ or ‘sex’ a more pleasureable and meaningful experience. Sex also doenst have to be penetraition. Who ever said that defined sex? You can do multiple other things instead of penetraition.

3. Coming out to your parents sounds like a horrible experiance. But it all depends on what type of parents you have. I know, when I came out to my parents that I was Bi, and dating my girl ((who was my best friends before then, and we’ve now been dating for almost a year)) They accepted it. Fairly surprised, but not the worst. It helped that they knew her before hand, and that they liked her then. I must say, my father still has trouble believeing it sometimes, but thats because is strict of a father of being.
I say you should do when you and your partner feel ready to tell. And a nice tip; try to arrange it so that you and your partner say it around the same time. Or else there could be a very awkward revealing of your sexuality to your parents, from your girlfriends parents.

3. Coming out to other people. This is a tricky one, which i can barely say anything to. It depends from person to person when you’re ready. You have to trust yourself, and your partner to choose the right choice for you. Make sure to be prepared for some hate. It might not happen ((hasnt happened to me yet)), but you should always make sure that you can take it, and not judge yourself or anything.

I say to all the girls out there looking for another girl partner, go ahead! Fly like the wind!! 8D

First off, don’t label yourself. Whether you’re bi or lesbian or turn out to be straight makes no difference because you fall in love with a “person” not their sexuality. Trying to label yourself brings up a lot of confusion and pain and unpleasant thoughts. You are who you are and your grandparents will just have to get used to that. I would suggest though that you don’t have sex after getting together with that girl. It’s not about the sex, and it might leave you more confused than before. If this girl likes you she’ll want more than sex, and so will you. A lot of people think they will figure out their sexuality by having sex but its unfair to the person you’re using to figure that out.
Anyway, there’s plenty of ways to have girl sex! I think when you get there you’ll know what to do though. There’s oral, fingering, scissoring, strap ons, dildos, you name it.
