TLQ’s Comment Policy

At The Lesbian Question women, and sometimes men, write in looking for advice, guidance, and support from the readers of this blog.  When a post is added to this blog it is open for comments. We hope that all who take the time to leave a comment will remember a few simple guidelines: TLQ does not pre-moderate any comments.

We do not delete or censor comments unless they have content that:

* is abusive

* is off-topic

* promotes hate of any kind

* uses excessively foul language

* is blatantly spam

* contains a phone number

All comments are filtered through spam filtering technology; we are currently using a combination of Akismet and Bad Behavior 2. The spam-filtering technology isn’t perfect and from time to time it flags legitimate comments (false positives). If you find that your comment isn’t immediately showing up, it may have been erroneously flagged as spam.

Please email us at thelesbianquestion@gmail.com to follow up on the status of your comment if it hasn’t shown up after 24 hours and we will do our best to sort it out. Please also contact us to report any comments or posts that you find offensive so that we me look into them and see if they violate TLQ’s policy.
